Had you asked someone a few years ago about staying in a yurt, you would have received a few strange or blank looks to say the least! Now yurts can be found in all of the UK’s corners, as well as across the globe!
So what is it about yurts that have enabled this explosion on the glamping scene? We think the yurt’s strong structure has facilitated this growth – glamping owners, when considering what type of glamping to add to their site, have correctly surmised that the yurt’s sturdiness will provide longevity and provide less problems, year after year. After all, if a yurt can be used as an abode in some of the world’s harshest conditions, the UK should provide safe enough climes!
Then of course, there is space – and lots of it! There are some huge yurts, some can sleep a huge number of people!
